Oct. 16-Jan. 9: North Zone Canada goose, white-fronted goose, snow goose and Brant (86 days).

Oct. 16-Nov. 14: North Zone pintail.

Oct. 16-Dec. 14: North Zone duck.

Oct. 23-24: Central Zone youth goose hunt.

Oct. 23-31: Firearm turkey.

Oct. 30-31: South Zone youth goose hunt.

Oct. 30-Nov. 7: First half of split Central Zone Canada goose, white-fronted goose, then Nov. 16-Jan. 31 (86 days).

Oct. 30-Nov. 28: North Zone canvasback.

Oct. 30-Nov. 28: Central Zone pintail.

Nov. 5: Opening day of North Zone muskrat, mink, beaver, raccoon, opossum, striped skunk and weasel.

Nov. 10: Opening day of South Zone muskrat, mink, beaver, raccoon, opossum, striped skunk and weasel.

Nov. 10: Opening day of statewide coyote, badger, red fox and gray fox.

Illinois fishing seasons

Oct. 1-Dec. 31: Lake Michigan coho and chinook salmon snagging.

Oct. 16: Opening day at 5 a.m. of catchable trout at selected sites.
