Illinois Renewable Energy Association awarded grant

The Illinois Renewable Energy Association, Inc. (IREA) has received a three-year grant from the Illinois Clean Energy Community Foundation (ICECF) to continue the Illinois Renewable Energy Fair.

The Fair, now in its third year, was referred to by the ICECF as a “respected and expected event.” It has also been recognized by state energy organizations and agencies as Illinois’ premier renewable energy event.

The 2004 fair will be held on Aug. 7 and 8 at the Ogle County Fairgrounds near Oregon. It provides an opportunity for people who are interested in using renewable energy in their own lives to meet those who provide equipment and services. Informative workshops are provided.
