Junior League, Inc. seeks project proposals

The Junior League of Rockford, Inc. is seeking to develop, implement and fund a project in the Rockford community. Members of the Junior League of Rockford are accomplished collaborators who build coalitions, identify community needs, and develop effective and responsive programs to serve those needs. Focus areas are women, children and families. The Junior League of Rockford is not a granting organization, and project proposals should include volunteer opportunities for its members. The Junior League of Rockford, Inc. is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Junior League has been a vital part of the Rockford community for more than 75 years, and reaches out to women of all races, religions, and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to voluntarism. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
