The sixth annual Keith Classics & Chrome car show will be this weekend, April 22-23, at the Indoor Sports Center, 8800 E. Riverside Blvd., Loves Park.
Theme for this years show is Where the fast meets the past. Visitors to the show can view more than 125 different antique, classic and specialty cars.
Entries will be divided into several categories. Cars from throughout the Midwest will compete in the pre-war, post-war classics, sports car, muscle car, rod and custom, exotics/racecar, specialty car and motorcycle divisions. Attendees to the show will have the opportunity to take photos, chat with car owners and vote for the Peoples Choice Award.
During the two-day event, the Tickets to Ride raffle tickets will be on sale. Each person who purchases a $100 ticket will have a 1-in-999 chance to win the grand prize, one of three different vehicles, or $35,000. The winner will have their choice of a 2006 Dodge Charger Daytona RT Hemi, 2006 Lexus IS 250 or a 2006 Toyota Highlander, or the cash. The runner-up will receive $1,000, and third place will take home $500.
