As part of its continuing leadership in the fight against hunger, Hilander presented a $4,900 donation to Northern Illinois Food Banks Rockford Branch.
This donation was collected during November and December for the Share Your Feast promotion, sponsored by Hilander.
Every November and December, Hilander, in conjunction with every store in the Kroger Central Marketing Area, hosts the Share Your Feast Food Drive. It is the largest and longest food drive in the state of Illinois. The drive offers three ways to givemake a cash donation at any checklane, purchase and donate a pre-bagged sack of groceries, or make a donation of any non-perishable grocery item. Kroger / Hilanders commitment is that all donations will stay in the community in which it is collected.

Executives from Hilander presented the donation to NIFB March 16 at Hilanders Roscoe location, 4860 Hononegah Rd. This check presentation kicked off one of four fun-filled weekends planned by Hilander to recognize and show appreciation for its customers and associates.
