Learn to Skate classes set for Dec. 21-23, 26-30

Rockford Park District is taking registrations for a special holiday break session of Learn to Skate classes for students out of school. Classes meet Dec. 21-23, and 26-30, from 11:15 to 11:45 a.m., at Carlson Ice Arena, Loves Park.

The program of nationally recognized U.S. Figure Skating Basic Skills classes is for beginners ages 3-5, and beginner/intermediate level students ages 6-16; ice skates are provided for use in all classes.

Fees for all ages are $70 ($75 nonresident rate), and a $10 discount is available when registering multiple children from the same family.

Each student receives a pass good for five free admissions to public skating sessions, which represents a value of more than $20.
