Come out of the cold and into the warmth of lifelong learning at Rock Valley Colleges (RVC) Center for Learning in Retirements maiden Think SpringStop-in Fling open house.
This informal open house will be from 9 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007, at RVCs Bell School Road Center (the corner of Spring Brook and Bell School roads). The event is free to the public, ages 50 and older. This function is designed to be a drop-in, leave-as-you-wish opportunity.
A stimulating morning is planned, featuring sampler classes, which will include Ben Healys class What In the World is Going On?Mary Bartels class Stress Managementand JoAnn Fischers class, which includes crafts of various kinds. Class presentations will be going on throughout the morning, and you are encouraged to drop in, listen and participate in the action.
This event will offer in-person registration for the spring 2007 session, which begins Feb. 5, 2007. Golden Eagles Fitness information and registration will be available to visitors.
Center for Learning in Retirement Advisory Committee members, CLR staff and members will be browsing, socializing and enjoying refreshments.
