Literary Hook: Moon Journal calls for manuscripts

Moon Journal will be looking at poems and very short prose for its Fall/Winter issue. Submit up to three poems or two pieces of very short prose from June 15 to Aug. 15 (deadline). All entries should include some kind of reference to nature, no matter how subtle or direct. We prefer very short prose (400-800 words), though we will make exceptions if the piece is outstanding. There is no reading fee, and this is not a contest.

We prefer work submitted on Word file attachment or e-mail. However, if snail mail is your only option, be sure to include a self-addressed envelope with enough postage to return any unused material. Please include a brief cover letter with short bio. Send to Christine Swanberg, or 2517 Barrington Place, Rockford, IL 61107.

The new editors of Moon Journal are Christine Swanberg and Beth Palm of Rockford. Write or e-mail the address listed above for more information.
