Tuesday, Oct. 24, about 75 area residents met at Club 505, 505 E. State St., in downtown Rockford to watch the film Martial Law 9/11: The Rise of the Police State and hear a special call-in by Jack Blood, syndicated radio talk show host of Deadline Live.

Blood is a member of the 9/11 Truth Movement, a national group of scholars, journalists, writers and concerned citizens who question the official investigation of the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, and what they see as attacks on the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Blood broadcasts daily from Austin, Texas, from 2 to 4 p.m. His radio show follows Alex Jones, fellow founding member of the 9/11 Truth Movement. Also from Austin, Jones’ radio talk show airs daily from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Local radio station WLUV-AM 1520 carries both shows weekdays.

Blood’s Web site is www.jackblood.com. Jones’ Web sites www.infowars.com and www.prisonplanet.com are updated daily with documented evidence, interviews and a growing list of DVDs to help listeners see the evidence for themselves.

Jack Blood addresses Rockford via phone

Blood thanked the group for taking time and getting educated on the questionable events of 9/11. He noted there are many media figures who believe the attacks of 9/11 were an inside job. “Know what your government is doing,” he said. “Know that they can’t be trusted.”

Blood also said that more than 80 percent of Americans don’t believe the official story.

“No (steel-structure) building has ever fallen from fire,” Blood told the audience, and called 9/11, “our American Reichstag,” referring to Adolf Hitler’s secret bombing of the German Parliament on Feb. 27, 1933—blaming it on the communists.

Scripps Howard poll reveals discontent

An August 2006 Scripps Howard News Service poll (www.shns.com) reveals a growing disbelief in the George W. Bush administration’s version of the events of 9/11. Scripps Howard asked adult Americans if they believe that: “People in the federal government either assisted in the 9/11 attacks or took no action to stop the attacks because they wanted the United States to go to war in the Middle East.” Thirty-six percent said this is either “very likely” or “somewhat likely.”

Of young adults 18-24 years old, 57 percent responded the attacks were likely U.S. government-sponsored terrorism.

What do you hope to accomplish?

Local activist Troy Tucker (e-mail cheftucker@insightbb.com) organized the event at Club 505, which included live music by Jim Hagerty and complementary buffet. Tucker told the audience to “just look into the evidence. It is not unpatriotic to ask questions. America is the people,” he added.

In a call-in to a locally-produced radio talk show, Tucker brought up the 9/11 Truth Movement evidence. Tucker said: “I don’t want to be labeled a conspiracy theorist. The government’s version is the conspiracy theory. What’s your opinion about a new 9/11 investigation?” The radio host immediately hung up on him.

To further educate the public, Tucker plans to hold other 9/11 Truth Movement forums at larger venues and to start an Internet radio program.

Tucker said he witnessed true tyranny and dictatorship during a visit to Yugoslavia before the Bosnian War broke out.

“I want to make sure that doesn’t happen here,” Tucker said. “The mainstream media wants you to believe that you’re alone. I’ve received over 60 e-mails from people who said they felt alone [in their 9/11 doubts of the official version] within the last week … People were scared to walk in the door (at Club 505), thinking they were alone.” They found they were not alone.

Editor & Publisher Frank Schier also attended the forum and spoke. He said he was encouraged by the crowd displaying an open mind and asking questions. He said common sense would make anyone wonder why the buildings fell the way they did after impact, especially Building WTC 7, which was a block away and did not suffer a direct hit. Schier cited the Yugoslavian maxim, “Tell the truth and run!” He said whatever the viewpoint was, if it was an attack from within or without, the full truth should be pursued, not run away from by the public or our government.

BYU professor resigns

Founding member of the group Scholars for 9/11 Truth is former Brigham Young University physics professor Steven E. Jones. Jones published a paper last year titled, “Why Indeed Did the WTC Buildings Completely Collapse?” In that paper, Jones claimed the explosive Thermite was found in the World Trade Center debris and that the airplanes hitting the buildings were not enough to bring down the Twin Towers.

In the official 9/11 Commission Report: Final Report of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States, the government made no attempt to investigate why World Trade Center Building No. 7 collapsed, demolition-style, without being hit by any airplane.

BYU placed Jones on paid leave Sept. 7, 2006. Oct. 21, Jones resigned from BYU, stating, “I am electing to retire so that I can spend more time speaking and conducting research of my choosing.”

Terror Storm released Oct. 31

Radio talk show host Alex Jones has produced several DVDs to help the doubting public get informed about the evidence not included in the government’s official 9/11 Commission Report, including Martial Law 9/11: The Rise of the Police State. Jones’ latest film, Terror Storm, was released Tuesday, Oct. 31, in stores across the country, including Borders and Barnes & Noble.

Jones advises activists to make copies and distribute his DVDs and videos widely, without the penalty of copyright restrictions, which are available for viewing, download or sale at www.infowars.com or www.prisonplanet.com.

Other Jones’ DVDs include 9/11 Road to Tyranny and Dark Secrets: Inside the Bohemian Grove. All of Jones’ DVDs are designed to expose what he calls the New World Order’s globalist agenda—economic slavery.
