Lung Association dinner features former Oprah chef

The American Lung Association of Illinois is proud to welcome Art Smith to their annual Critics’ Choice Dinner Oct. 4 at The Radisson Hotel & Convention Center, 270 S. Bell School Road.

Smith’s career has taken him to kitchens across the world, working as a private chef for politicians and celebrities. Three of his cookbooks have garnered international acclaim, including his most recent Kitchen Life: Real Food for Real Families. Smith worked as Oprah’s personal chef for a decade before beginning work on his forthcoming Chicago restaurant, Table.

His upcoming appearance at The Radisson is sure to please. The event includes dinner, entertainment, a silent auction, a wine pull, a raffle, and a dessert contest to be judged by Art Smith.

Seating is available for $85 per person, and tables of 10 are available. Raffle tickets are available for prizes of $1,000 cash and a round-trip on Allegiant Air to Orlando, Fla. For reservations, call the American Lung Association at (815) 962-6412 or (815) 961-7197.
