Make a difference in someone's life!

Rockford Sexual Assault Counseling is recruiting volunteers to provide advocacy for victims of sexual assault or abuse and their families. No experience is necessary.

You will play an important role in helping survivors feel they are not alone and not to blame for the assault. When you are on call, you will carry a pager and will respond to local emergency rooms when an assault has occurred, and you will provide phone advocacy for someone in need.

Forty-hour training is required and provided by RSAC for a fee of $40. Next training begins Sept. 30. To receive a volunteer packet and/or inquire about training dates and times, call Beth at (815) 636-9811 or e-mail the agency at
