Mark Broman to receive 'The Lamb Award'

On Sunday, May 1 at the 9:30 a.m. worship service at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rockford, Mark Broman will receive “The Lamb Award.” This award is in recognition for distinguished service to the Lutheran church and its youth through the Boy Scouts of America.

“Mr. B.,” as he is affectionately known, has served the youth of the Blackhawk Area Council in the Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Venturing Programs. Mark is an active member of his community and of Trinity Lutheran Church where he also serves as a confirmation group leader.

In addition to his youth activities, Broman also participates in the Rockford and Loves Park Chamber of Commerce, and has a passion for model railroading, where he uses his photography skills for the National Railway Historical Society.
