McWilliams named chairman of board of directors for Cable Television and Communications Association of Illinois
K.C. McWilliams, district vice president of Insight Communications, was recently named chairman of the board of directors for the Cable Television and Communications Association of Illinois (CT&C).
McWilliams, the first woman in the history of the CT&C to be appointed to this position, is the chief executive officer of the corporation. Her responsibilities include leading and directing the State Association, and initiating the establishment of goals and objectives for the CT&C in the state of Illinois.
In its 16-year history, the CT&C has proven to be a dynamic and capable leader in the cable television industry of the Midwest. CT&C represents the cable industry in the Illinois General Assembly and the Illinois Commerce Commission, keeping members aware of important state issues. The association membership consists of cable operators, programming and equipment services, and other businesses that have an affiliation with the cable industry.
