MembersAlliance Credit Union will offer a free seminar on Financial Aid for Students on Thursday, Feb. 10, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. This educational event will be held in the Grace Roper Lounge in the Burpee Center of Rockford College, 5050 E. State St. Featured speaker Stacey Zimmerman, financial aid specialist at Rockford College, will speak on several topics including:

Completing the FAFSA application;

Deadlines for submitting application;

Types of federal loans

Great ideas for getting through the process;

How the financial aid is awarded.

If you or someone you know is headed for college and need some good advice on available financial aid options, this seminar is for you.
