Midwest Fiber & Folk Art Fair July 20-22

CRYSTAL LAKE, Ill.—The Midwest Fiber & Folk Art Fair debuts July 20-22 in Crystal Lake, Ill. Workshops are open for registration with 104 workshops offered by teachers with name recognition.

From making glass beads, to dyeing with natural dyes, to carving a wooden spoon for your sweetie, there is something for everyone to expand his or her horizons! A Just For Kids art tent will also be filled with projects! All set in the beautiful Lakeside Legacy Arts Park—with the atmosphere and charm of a county fair.

The event brings artists around the U.S. together to celebrate what they do. Be prepared to be educated in the workshops, inspired by the fine Art Show, shop the 100 booths in the Art Marketplace, enjoy live folk music and beer garden, and join in the Saturday special fund-raiser “Make a Little Magic,” where attendees will conjure a few art scholarships.

Admission is $5 per day in advance or $6 per day at the door. Kids younger than 10 are free. For complete information, see the Web site at www.FiberAndFolk.com.
