Morrissey holds 'It's a Time for Change, Rockford!' gathering

Independent candidate running for Rockford Mayor, Larry Morrissey, will hold an “It’s a Time for Change, Rockford!” gathering on Sunday, March 13 from noon to 3 p.m. at the Olympic Tavern (N. Main St. and Fulton Avenue).

Voice your concerns!

Morrissey will speak about his vision for the future of Rockford. The public is invited, and attendees will be encouraged to “voice your concerns” at the meeting, where voters will be able to question Morrissey directly about his vision for Rockford.

Morrissey For Mayor Events Coordinator, Eileen Morrissey, said: “It’s time for a change in Rockford. Now is the time for change, and we have to do it together. We are one Rockford.”

Food and a “cash bar” will be provided at the Olympic Tavern.

Morrissey supporters are invited to “join us as as we walk in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade” on Sat. March 12. People will line up for the parade at 2 p.m. at the Amcore Bank, 501 7th St.
