Beloved Rockford artist Ingrid Dohm joins her daughter Alexandra Cheshire for a special Mother’s Day exhibit at A Movable Feast. Opening exhibit is from 5:30 to 7 p.m., Saturday, May 7.

The Austrian-born Ingrid is a long-time Rockford favorite displaying her beautiful oversized landscapes and still-life paintings. Daughter Alexandra holds dual master’s degrees in art education and German literature resides in Tuscon, Ariz. Similarities between mother and daughter’s work include their shared interest in florals, the use of both watercolors and acrylics. Ingrid’s work is slightly less formal than her daughter’s painterly, delicate studies of flowers.

The exhibit will be on display during A Movable Feast’s special Mother’s Day Brunch at Kiki B’s, served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday, May 8. Store hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays.

A Movable Feast is at Edgebrook Center, 1641 N. Alpine Rd., Rockford. Admission is free to the public. More info: Kiki Benson at 227-0102 or online at
