NEW YORK—Grab the magnifying glass and the crime-solving gear—Nancy Drew is hot again!

Nancy Drew has hit it big as the new “It Girl” label, and is the theme of many new licensed and branded products, including the new Papercutz Graphic Novels and the upcoming Warner Bros. movie, Nancy Drew: The Mystery in Hollywood Hills.

Nancy Drew is once again the icon of young girls across the board. Her hot, new look and action-packed new stories relate to the modern audience with her mischievous crime-solving methods throughout each of these products.

Moving into spring-summer with a new trilogy, Papercutz is now up to volume 10 of its Nancy Drew graphic novel series, as Nancy Drew solves crimes with environmental themes.

Papercutz’s latest Nancy Drew graphic novels, coming out over the next few months, include: No. 9: Ghost in the Machinery, and No. 10: The Disoriented Express. Both are part of a larger, interconnected series, each volume with its own new story. All will release in time for June 15, when Nancy Drew will be solving a new crime on the big screen.

Majesco Entertainment will be releasing the first Nintendo DS™ game, Nancy Drew and The Deadly Secret of Olde World Park, which lets handheld gamers become Nancy Drew as she unravels the mystery of the missing billionaire. Her Interactive will be joining the season’s releases with its new Nancy Drew PC game, Nancy Drew: The White Wolf of Icicle Creek. In this game, Nancy Drew goes undercover at the Icicle Creek lodge in the Canadian Rockies to investigate strange accidents and a mysterious wolf that appears before each incident. She then discovers a dangerous plot afoot that could have international repercussions. The game is an addition to their collective Nancy Drew game series and will be available at retail in summer 2007.

In celebration of this rebirth and the launch of Nancy Drew: The Mystery in Hollywood Hills, Papercutz is preparing several online crime-solving contests and fun activities with prizes in cooperation with many major Web sites throughout the spring-summer.
