NAT annual fund-raiser 'A Cut of Crystal' March 18

On Friday, March 18, New American Theater (NAT) will hold its annual fund-raiser at Ramada Plaza Suites. This year’s theme is “A Cut of Crystal,” as in Waterford Crystal and Ireland. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails and silent auction and dinner at 7 p.m., but there is much more.

Raffle prizes include “Spending of the Green” at Bob’s Hardware, a $1,800 Diamond necklace from Busch Jewelers, and the grand prize, a one-week trip for two to Ireland, including a tour of the famed Waterford Crystal Factory. Waterford Crystal vases will be the centerpiece at each table and will be available for guests to purchase during the evening.

Masters of Ceremony, Kris Cohn and Mayor Doug Scott, will once again delight the crowd as they take to the stage for the live auction. The tension will continue to build until the items, including the always popular New York Theater Package, which includes an on-set tour of a prime time TV show, are awarded to the highest bidder. The silent auction items, which are coming in fast and furious, will be crowd pleasers as well, and the bidding wars heat up as the evening comes to a close.

Clutch Cargo will also perform, making room for dancing.
