New name for familiar nursing home

Rockford residents driving along the 1900 block of North Main Street will soon notice a new sign for the familiar nursing home residence formerly called Willows on Main. The new owner has changed the name to Springwood on Main while the long-standing tradition of providing fine care continues for the nursing home residents.

The dedicated staff at Springwood on Main continues to provide a high level of nursing care the community has come to expect of the facility. All departments, including programmed activities and a comprehensive program of physical, occupational and speech therapies, emphasize the importance of quality of life on a day-by-day basis.

Springwood on Main is a 97-bed nursing and rehabilitation center licensed as an intermediate and skilled care facility by the Illinois Department of Public Health, certified by the Illinois Department of Public Aid and is a licensed Medicare provider.

Residents needing long-term and short-term care, including respite care, are accepted.

Admissions are accepted 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Family members are invited to tour this facility by calling 964-6834.
