Northern Illinois Hospice and Grief Center has implemented a new educational program titled “Grief in the Workplace.”

The program, aimed at educating both employers and employees about the effects of grief on the workplace, focuses on promoting a safe environment for individuals who are dealing with grief, as well as maintaining productivity during the process.

On-site presentations include the following topics: Supporting Each Other When a Co-worker Dies, The Myths of Grief, How to Support a Friend or Co-worker Who is Grieving, Guidelines for Managers and Supervisors on Supporting Grief, and the ABCs of Children’s Grief.
