Ogle county Fair seeks contributions by July 9

Oregon—Entries for the Ogle County Fair are due by Saturday, July 9.

The Ogle County Fair is not only a 4-H Fair but also a Junior Open and Open Fair. This means in Junior Open and Open you do not have to be a 4-H’er. Junior Open is for youth younger than l8 and pen is for any age.

To enter, you must pay a nominal entry fee and are then judged, placed and paid premium money according to the quality of your item.

Classes for Open include the following: vegetables, flowers, table settings, quilting, clothing, needlecraft, handcrafts, photography, foods, painting, drawing, dogs, sheep, beef, and horses.

Classes for Junior Open include the following: clothing, foods, animal science, child care, crops/soil, electricity, horticulture, computer science, mechanical science, natural resources, photography, visual arts, and woodworking
