OSF offers ‘New Hope’ for recently bereaved

“New Hope” for the Recently Bereaved, a free support group sponsored by OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center, will begin Monday, March 5, and continue for six weeks. Sessions will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Saint Francis Room at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center.

During the sessions, participants can share their experiences and feelings in a safe and confidential environment. The program includes audio-visual presentations, written materials and a lending library.

All who have suffered a recent loss are welcome, but registration by calling 815-395-5358 is required. Space is limited, and reservations will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis. “New Hope” is generally offered twice a year.
