The OSF Saint Anthony Foundation Council will present the 23rd Annual OSF Saint Anthony Golf Invitational Monday, July 9, at Mauh-Nah-Tee-See Country Club.
Lexus of Rockford is hosting the event, with proceeds benefiting the OSF Saint Anthony medication program for indigent patients as well as helping purchase specialized surgical equipment.
This years event features a new format, with a 7:30 a.m. shotgun start for the nine-hole Lexus Challenge that includes a $2,000 pool of cash and prizes. The 18-hole Invitational begins with a 12:15 p.m. shotgun start.
Competition in the morning will be in two-person teams. The fee for the morning is $150 per person, with breakfast and lunch included. Dinner tickets are $25 per person, and Hole Sign Sponsorships are also available for $250.
The OSF Saint Anthony Invitational also features a live auction, with the top prize a trip for two to the Lexus Champions for Charity event held in early December at Pebble Beach, Calif. Top bidder and his or her guest receive air fare, accommodations and the opportunity to play on the scenic championship Pebble Beach golf course.

Proceeds from past golf tournaments have benefited many areas of the hospital, including the Ambulatory Care Center, the parish nurse program and emergency department expansion.
