OSF Saint Anthony wins 8 Awards of Excellence

OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center earned eight Pinnacle Awards of Excellence from the Illinois Society of Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations. The awards were presented at the Society’s fall meeting held Friday, Nov. 9 in Lombard.

Pinnacle Awards of Excellence were earned for the OSF Saint Anthony Regional Heart Institute multi-media campaign, “The Shape of My Heart”; the Caring People, Clinical Excellence employee recruitment campaign; the television ads for the Center for Life OB Unit, the Emergency Department/Trauma Center, and the Regional Heart Institute; the direct mail campaign called “40 Plus” for the Regional Heart Institute; the print ad series focusing on the Mobile Heart Scan; and a writing award for a feature story about neurosurgery advances. An ISHMPR Pinnacle Award of Merit was earned for a story about an OSF Saint Anthony Lifeline Helicopter flight nurse who traveled to Haiti to provide free medical care to the poor.

The Pinnacle Awards Program recognizes excellence in clear and effective marketing and public relations communications. There were 125 entrants in this year’s Pinnacle competition. Combined, OSF Healthcare System institutions received 19 awards, the most of any healthcare system in the state.
