Total Living Network TV51, Rockfords local Christian television station will partner with WGSL Radio 91 for its fourth year to host The Family Station at On the Waterfront, Sept. 2-4.
The Family Station will offer many live musical performances not seen anywhere else during the three-day music festival. Performances include gospel, contemporary Christian, Scottish, Latin, jazz and more. Special highlights this year include the Church Challenge at 3 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 4. Twelve pre-selected contestants will compete on stage singing one song of their choice. The audience will vote and determine the winner that evening. The winner will receive a recording session with The Upper Room Studio, an interview and airing of his or her song on Radio 91, and a trophy.
Also, performing Sunday, Sept. 4 at 6:30 p.m., will be Rockfords 2005 Inspiration Sensation Stephanie Goldsmith. Before the weekend is over, the powerful voices of Rev. Dan Willis and the All Nations Choir will be heard at The Family Station and all surrounding locations.
Dan Willis has been performing with this gospel group since 1990. The choirs ministry is one of racial harmony and spiritual unity. Dan Willis is also the host of Inspiration Sensation.

Between performances, The Family Station will provide games, giveaways and special appearances by Buzz & Poppy, TV51s animated bugs from the television series.

Three-day Waterfront admission buttons are $12 in advance, available at various locations. Cost is $14 for a one-day admission wristband at the gate. Children 8 and younger are free.
