Painting depicts courthouse

Commissioned to design an illustration representing the succession of the Ogle County Courthouse buildings, local artist Toni Cacciatore produced an original piece in commemoration of the new Judicial Center. One hundred 8-inch by 10-inch, limited edition, signed and numbered prints are now available.

As a tribute to the new Judicial Center, Cacciatore’s artwork depicts Ogle County’s three courthouses embraced by Loredo Taft’s allegory of justice—the female bronze figure (flanked by two soldiers in front of the old courthouse facing Fourth Street).

For information on acquiring a signed print, contact the artist at 815-234-7067. Framing for the print is available.

From the Sept. 28-Oct. 4, 2005, issue
