Park District DVD showcases summer youth programs

Rockford Park District’s new DVD Guide to Services for Youth Summer Programs transports viewers to the sites of the programs and activities the District offers for youth and children. The DVD enhances the information contained in the District’s printed guidebook, program brochures, and Web site descriptions by showing participants engaged in activities. programs are brought to life with sound, motion, and information for parents and children.

One hundred copies of the DVD have been produced for distribution free of charge to interested parents through Park District Customer Service locations and recreational facilities. Copies have also been sent to local libraries and video rental outlets, who may choose to make them available as a public service. Locations that carry the DVD are: Rockford and Loves Park public libraries, Blockbuster Video stores in Rockford and Loves Park, and Hollywood Video on East Riverside Boulevard.
