Park District offers holiday ice skating show

More than 100 skaters featured in Riverview Ice House show

Mark your calendars now for this annual holiday favorite! Rockford Park District’s Riverview Ice House will present the “Holiday Snow on Ice” ice show, Saturday, Dec. 3, with performances at 2 and 7 p.m.

More than 100 local skaters ages 3 through adult of all levels from Rockford Park District’s Learn to Skate and Figure Skating programs will demonstrate their skills in performances accompanied by music of the season.

Special guest skaters The Ice Men, an all-male comedic synchronized skating team from Canada, will also entertain.

Show tickets are $10 per person in advance, $13 at the door, and $20 for on-ice seating. Advance tickets are available at Carlson Ice Arena, 4150 N. Perryville Rd., Loves Park; tickets will also be available at the door at Riverview Ice House, 324 N. Madison St., Rockford.

Proceeds from the show will benefit the Rockford Rescue Mission, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Center, Rockford Ronald McDonald Caremobile, and the Washington Park and Lewis Lemon Community Recreation Centers.
