Per Mar, owner fined
Per Mar Investigation Service, Loves Park, and its licensee, Harold Finch of East Moline, have been penalized by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation for violations of state law.
The Per Mar agency was put on probation for two years and fined $9,000, while Finch was given the same amount of probation and fined $5,000.
The state agency said its audit of the company revealed it employed more than 90 persons whose permanent employee registration cards were not filed in a timely manner. The department also said the company employed more than 20 workers who did not have active registration cards or pending applications for cards.
State officials said the security company and Finch also employed three persons whose applications for permanent employee cards were denied, and employing more than 30 persons whose cards had not been renewed.
