Phoenix Traders hosts book signing Dec. 6

Phoenix Traders is hosting a book signing for The Strange Sound of Cthulhu—Music Inspired by the Writings of H.P. Lovecraft by local writer Gary Hill in Phoenix Traders’ new Wicca and New Age reading room, Sacred Moon.

The book The Strange Sound of Cthulhu—Music Inspired by the Writings of H.P. Lovecraft has been reviewed in Beet Café (www.beetcafe.com), Wormwood Chronicles (www.wormwoodchronicles.com) and “The Bloody Quill,” to name a few. It is a useful book for fans of dark music, the author H. P. Lovecraft or any of the bands featured within its covers.

The author will be on hand to sign copies and answer questions about the book. In addition to this book, Hill also publishes Music Street Journal (www.musicstreetjournal.com). He also writes for Beet Café, Wormwood Chronicles and Rock Valley Publishing, and wrote several hundred articles for All Music Guide (allmusic.com).

The event will be at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 6. Phoenix Traders is at 215 7th St., Rockford.
