Poetry selection: February Dance

Dancing I dance with the Wind despite

Her cold breasts and hips

Her freezing fingertips,

She dances to feel the freedom

Of being human,

I dance to lose myself in the motion

Of Her arms,

She dances to grow-growing and love-loving

Every moment of our miracle fun

Here on the road of hard packed snow

And occasional patches of frozen dirt,

There are no trees on the open field.

I dance, We dance.

Oh yes, We dance

Because the Wind and Her voice’s emotion

Need a partner to hold

And I, I need to feel an embrace of the infinite!
