Prepare for summer jobs by attending the first American Red Cross Aquatic School!

Rock River Chapter of the American Red Cross is holding first Aquatic School starting June 7 through June 12 at the Boylan High School Swim Complex, 4000 St. Francis Dr., Rockford. Courses include Water Safety Instructor, Lifeguard Instructor, Lifeguard Training, and Safety Training for Swim Coaches. There will also be an opportunity to challenge for Lifeguard Training and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer.

One week—all day courses are:

Lifeguard Training—$95

Water Safety Instructor—$100

Lifeguard Instructor—$100

One-day course:

Safety Training for Swim Coaches—$30

Lunches and materials are included in the cost of the classes listed above.

Challenges available:

Lifeguard Challenge—$25

CPR and AED Challeng—$25
