CBL & Associates Properties Inc. and Coca-Cola have teamed up to bring the exclusive Coca-Cola Racing Family Experience tour to 60 CBL malls across the country, including a stop at CherryVale Mall.
The Coca-Cola Racing Family Experience Tour, geared toward NASCAR fans of all ages, will include photo opportunities, virtual racing, prizes and more from 1-9 p.m., Wednesday, July 13 at CherryVale Malls Center Court area.
The Coca-Cola Racing Family Experience includes the Pit Boss, an interactive game trailer with six 35-inch video screens, where NASCAR fans can compete in virtual races. In addition, customized Harley-Davidson motorcycles with Coca-Cola Classic contour sidecars will be on display at CherryVale Malls Center Court, and fans can bring their cameras to pose with the life-sized models of the drivers of the Coca-Cola Racing Family.
Shoppers can spin to win for prizes at the Authentic NASCAR Prize Wheel, and register for a chance to win the grand prize in the Coca-Cola Racing Family Ride Along Sweepstakesa trip for two to the Coca-Cola Racing Family Reunion in Atlanta at the end of October. The grand prize includes round-trip airfare, hotel, transportation, tickets to the Busch and Nextel Cup races, and the opportunity to ride around the Atlanta Motor Speedway with a Coca-Cola Racing Family driver at 160 miles per hour!
NASCAR has a loyal fan base of 75 million people and shares its fan base with the No. 1 sport in the U.S. CBL properties offer an excellent venue for this interactive tour based on the prime locations in the Midwest and South, which account for 62 percent of the total fan base, said Barb Ivankovich, vice president of Marketing for CBL & Associates Properties Inc.
Coca-Cola is the official soft drink of NASCAR and, through its association with tracks and race teams, has been involved in the sport for more than 40 years. The Coca-Cola Racing Family features popular drivers in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series including Tony Stewart, Kevin Harvick, Bobby Labonte, Kyle Petty, 2004 champion Kurt Busch, Bill Elliott, Jeff Burton, Michael Waltrip, Dale Jarrett, Elliott Sadler and Greg Biffle, as well as former drivers Richard Petty and Ned Jarrett.
