Reggie Sears at Sinnissippi July 15

Reggie Sears will be the featured performer at Charlotte’s Web’s Sinnissippi Summer Series, 7:30 p.m., Saturday, July 15, at the Rockford Park District Music Shell.

“Every once in a while, I hear an extraordinary talent, someone who moves me and makes me believe there will be better things to come for him or her. After a long time of searching, I have found him, and his name is Reggie Sears. This kid can play his axe and sing with such soul and conviction that I fail to believe he is just 14 years old. This is one of the few kids who plays ‘The Blues’ right. He doesn’t just play notes. He plays from his heart. After hearing him, I think you will agree that Reggie Sears is the best young Bluesman on the scene. Keep an eye out for this amazing talent.”—Joe West, The Chitlin Circuit.
