Report: Help-U-Sell second-best new franchise brand

According to the 2007 edition of the Swanepoel Trends Report published this month, Help-U-Sell Real Estate is ranked the second-best “New” National Real Estate franchise brand.

“Help-U-Sell’s success stems from our ability to provide full real estate services from licensed professionals at a low set fee, while creating transparency for the consumer throughout the transaction,” said Gary Rhead of Help-U-Sell Midland Realty in Rockford.

According to the report, more than 55 percent of all real estate transactions are done through a real estate company affiliated with one of the 20 national real estate franchises. To be considered for a ranking in the survey, the franchise brand needs to provide valuable real estate business services to the franchisee, education and training to the broker and agents, and, above all, a recognizable name and brand.

“Although there are many well-known, existing franchise brands, there are also many new franchise brands in the industry that are proving to be very exciting,” said Stefan Swanepoel, author of the Swanepoel Trends Report, widely accepted as the leading publication on trends in the real estate brokerage industry.

During the last decade, a larger-than-normal slate of new real estate franchises has been created, providing brokers and agents more options but also creating more confusion in the market.
