Rib City Grill & Deli invites the public to watch a mural in creation from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Feb. 9-11 at the restaurant, 5839 Forest Hills Rd. at River Lane (one mile south of Wal-Mart).
Iverson Decorating and nationally known artist Randy Reed will combine their talents to create a new mural on the dining room wall. Reeds art will replace the more than 20-year-old Subs-N-More mural. Daily specials will be available for customers to enjoy a meal while watching the new creation evolve. You will also have the chance to win daily giveaways.
Iverson Decorating has been featured on HGTV, in the local daily, and they are the winners of many local awards, including the ICE awards for 2002, 2003 and 2004.
After Bob Malachowski, previous owner of Subs-N-More for 17 years, passed away in June 2002, his son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Tammy, moved from Orlando, Fla., to help the family and take over the family restaurant. They wanted to carry on the legacy of great food and service that Bob Malachowski and his wife, Marge, had created. Malachowski had always wanted to change the name, feeling the Subs-N-More name did not adequately explain the different types of foods they carried.
