River District Association hosts 5th annual meeting
River District Association announces its 5th annual meeting, sponsored by Amcore Bank, to be held Tuesday, Feb. 4, at the E. J. Zeke Giorgi Center, 200 S. Wyman St. This event is a time for socializing and networking, as well as taking care of business and looking forward to the future.
The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with cocktails (cash bar) and hors doeuvres provided by River District Café and features entertainment by Nanette Felix, harpist for Rockford Symphony Orchestra. A short program at 7 p.m. will include an election of new board members and recognition of retiring board members. Sarah Skorija, president of the River District Board of Directors, will comment on the organization and the Framework Plan. Special guest, Rockford Mayor Doug Scott, will also say a few words.
