In response to online training course demand, Rock Valley College has partnered with The eLearning Center to offer thousands of courses from some of the world’s top online providers at

A unique career training and professional development opportunity, The eLearning Center is a comprehensive location students can visit to access a myriad of online training options—from mandatory professional continuing education to career programs. Through The eLearning Center, busy professionals, community adult learners and online education seekers have access to thousands of quality Web-based courses and programs, as well as the latest news and developments in the world of online learning.

Pricing for the courses range from $25 to $1,000, depending on the lesson intensity, certification offering and instructor support required.

Created by Gatlin Education Services, the world’s largest provider of online workforce development programs for colleges and universities, The eLearning Center contains courses from many of the country’s top online education content providers, such as Thomson Education Direct, Element K, GlobalEnglish, CEU4U and Coastal Training Technologies. As subsequent phases of the portal are released, many additional content providers will be added, offering a broad range of more than 25,000 online education courses by the end of 2006.
