Rockford golfs—even in the middle of winter

Come inside at the Indoor Sports Center Tuesdays or Wednesdays between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to keep up your golf game!

Steve Moore, Rockford Park District golf instruction manager and PGA pro, and Lloyd McWilliams, a PGA apprentice and former City Golf Champion, and Andy Graber, instructor for Patriots’ Gateway First Tee, will be available to provide game tips. Individual private lessons are also available.

The cost is $5 to hit a bag of practice balls inside the Center, and $10 for the bag of balls plus 10 minutes of individual instruction. This will continue through March 14, 2007.

Group indoor golf lessons will start in January on Wednesdays with one set of lessons from 1 to 2 p.m. and the other set from 2 to 3 p.m.
