Rockford Institute to host manufacturing forum

Conservative think tank the Rockford Institute will host a public forum Aug. 24 called “Saving American Manufacturing.” David Hartman, Rockford Institute Board chairman and Scott P. Richert, executive editor, of Chronicles magazine will explore the topics of fair trade, and manufacturing on the national and local levels.

The forum is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m., Aug. 24 at the Rockford Institute at 928 N. Main St. in Rockford. Admission is $10 for individuals, $15 for couples and $1 for high school and undergraduate college students. Admission is payable at the door, but seating is limited.
