Rockford Police Department announces Police on your street

The Rockford Police Department has announced a new program called Police On Your Street. This program is sponsored by the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois. The program targets kids between the ages of 5-12 and offers Robot and K9 demonstrations. The kids will also be given snacks, coloring books and T-shirts. Identification kits will also be available for the kids to take home to their parents.

Wednesday, July 18—Blackhawk Park,101 15th Ave.—1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 10—300 Albert Ave.—1:30-3:30 p.m.

Friday, July 20—Lewis Lemon Community Recreation Center, 1993 Mulberry St.—1:30-3:30 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 17—900 S. Third St.—1:30-3:30 p.m.
