Ronald McDonald Mobile comes to Ogle County in December

Oregon—The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile will be returning to Ogle County in December. The Care Mobile is a medical and dental office on wheels, providing services to children ages 0 to 18.

Some of the services include immunizations, physicals, and well-child exams.

Dental services may include cleaning, fluoride treatment, x-rays, and dental repair.

The Care Mobile has expanded its dental services to patients with developmental disabilities and is wheelchair-accessible.

The services are free and confidential. To qualify for services at the Care Mobile, families must either have no insurance, or have Medicaid or KidCare. If you have private insurance, we ask that you see a doctor in your community.

The Care Mobile will be in Rochelle Dec. 11 for medical services and Dec. 12 for dental services. The mobile will be at a new site in Rochelle at the McDonald’s Restaurant on Route 251. Dec. 15, the Care Mobile will be in Oregon at the Ogle County Health Department, 907 W. Pines Rd., for medical services only. Appointments are required and can be made by calling the Ogle County Health Department at (815) 732-7330, extension 279.

The Care Mobile is a cooperative service among Ogle County Health Department, Ronald McDonald House Charities, and Rockford Health System’s Children’s Medical Center.
