RTMA to hold induction night & dinner
The Rockford Tooling & Machining Association (RTMA), the local chapter of the National Tooling and Machining Association, will hold its annual Officer Induction Night & Dinner Dance for members and affiliated companies on Saturday, Feb. 9 at Cliffbreakers, 700 W. Riverside Blvd., Rockford. The social hour will begin at 6 p.m., dinner at 7, and dancing at 8, featuring the Men Of Our Times band. Cost is $40 each, or $80 per couple.

The RTMA is a group of tool and die shops, contract machine shops and custom fabricators in the Rockford/stateline area. Since 1960, more than 600 local men and women have launched tool and die making and precision machining careers after receiving their apprentice certification through the RTMA in conjunction with Rock Valley College and the U.S. Dept. of Labor.
