Offering a variety of opportunities, health care is attracting young students seeking a rewarding career and adults looking for a field providing interesting and stable work. Is it right for you? Discover for yourself at the Healthcare Career Fair April 22-23 at Rock Valley College.
Learn about the education and skills needed to enter the health care area that interests you by talking to students and professionals in the field. Interactive areas and plenty of information on careers as unique and flexible as you are will be offered, including nursing, physical therapy laboratory science, medical transcription, surgical technology, dental hygiene, speech therapy and sports medicine.
New this year, the fair offers several interesting breakout sessions with experts exploring career opportunities in crime science investigation, alternative health and social service. These sessions will be held Thursday, April 22, from 4 to 6 p.m., at the RVC Woodward Technology Center.
The Healthcare Career Fair is open to the public on Thursday, April 22 from 5 to 8 p.m., at the RVC Physical Education Center (PEC). Only middle and high school students are invited on Friday, April 23.
