For 104 straight hours, the WXRX staff will broadcast live from a new temporary home. The WXRX studio will be in the back of a semi truck trailer at the Hilander store on Perryville Road in Cherry Valley.

The marathon broadcast kicks off at 9 a.m., Friday, Nov. 29, and will continue until 5 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 3. They will be collecting nonperishable food items benefiting the thousands of needy people in the stateline area this holiday season. To help pass the time, there will be many special guests and contests. To help encourage donations, there will be several giveaways throughout the broadcast. The goal is to fill the truck so everyone can have a great holiday this year.
