Saving a historic Bible

The Bible (left photo) was originally owned by Thomas G. Lawler, who was a Civil War veteran and GAR Post Commander at Memorial Hall for 40 years. Lawler also served as postmaster for Rockford during the same years. Campbell obtained the Bible from a garage sale in Rockford.’);
