Serengeti Trek for kids set for July 25-29

Serengeti Trek is an exciting way for kids to learn more about God’s love. Each day at Vacation Bible School, they will sing, play games, enjoy snacks, and take on a Daily Challenge to let God’s love grow in their homes. They will collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God’s Word, and create Bible crafts. Kids will be involved in a local mission project that will reach needy children in Rockford.

Each day concludes at The Mane Event—a celebration that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join them daily for this special time at 11:35 a.m.

Serengeti Trek begins July 25 and continues through July 29. Meet at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 3300 Rural St., each day from 9 a.m.-noon. Serengeti Trek is open to the community and free. Space is limited. For information, call Cindy Hainchek at 399-0531.
