Sexual Assault Counseling offers volunteer training

Rockford Sexual Assault Counseling Inc. is currently recruiting volunteers to provide advocacy for victims of sexual assault or abuse and their families. You will play an important role in helping victims feel they are not alone and not to blame for the assault or abuse.

The agency provides 40 hours of training for all volunteers.

Registration deadline is Sept. 10. Training Session I starts Tuesday, Sept. 21, and Training Session II starts Wednesday, Sept. 22.
