MILWAUKEECarson Pirie Scott and Bergners stores, owned by Carson Pirie Scott & Co., will hold its sixth annual Charge Against Breast Cancer fund-raising initiative in October. Throughout National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a portion of the proceeds from select items will be donated to the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Center for breast cancer research. As part of their year-round program, all stores will donate a portion of all customer purchases made on a store credit card to breast cancer research.
Since the program began in 1998, Carson Pirie Scott & Co. has raised more than $1,350,000 for breast cancer research, which is making a difference in our communities. Proceeds raised from all CPS & Co. stores benefit cancer research centers in four statesIllinois, Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Funds raised in those states benefit their local cancer research center.

Our company is focused on making sure our donations directly support research taking place at the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation in Illinois.
Customers can show their support for the fight against breast cancer by purchasing any pink ribbon item available in the stores, just in time for the holiday gift-giving season.
